What they do
United Cancer Advocates Network is a patient-led advocacy group launched in April 2025, uniting cancer advocates from across the island of Ireland. Representing a broad spectrum of cancer types and communities, UCAN speaks with one voice to address systemic challenges affecting all cancer patients. Our mission is to ensure equitable, timely access to world-class cancer care for every patient in Ireland.
Based in Ireland.
All-island Irish patient-advocate network launched April 2025; policy and treatment-access advocacy; not a helpline.
The opening description is taken from the organisation’s own website. The rest is compiled from coalition directories and charity registers.
On the record
No charity or IRS record is attached yet. Coalitions, fiscally sponsored programmes, and Northern Ireland charities often sit outside the registers we matched against.
Also known as UCAN Ireland.
