UCSF Health

Bring your UCSF MyChart records into Triangle.

If UCSF MyChart is enabled for the person you choose, Triangle sends you there to authorize a manual import. Connecting is not the same as finishing it.

Sign in, choose the person, then Settings → Connections and search for UCSF Health. This page does not open UCSF MyChart for you.

Availability checked 26 October 2026. Owner: Product. A UCSF connection and import were observed in App v3.0.28. Not a promise that UCSF is enabled on every account, or that a new import will finish.

This is not clinical evidence and not medical advice. It does not replace your care team. Discuss anything here with your clinician before you act on it. Product questions are on the FAQ.

How UCSF connects

Reviewed 26 October 2026. Status labels you may see: Connected, Running, Partial, Complete, Reconnect. No scheduled sync.

  1. Sign in and choose the person

The grant is for that person and UCSF, not every MyChart login you have.

  2. Settings → Connections, then UCSF Health

On 26 October 2026 the directory listed 1,290 brands. That is not 1,290 working connections. If UCSF is not enabled, a request does not start consent or an import.

  3. Authorize in UCSF MyChart

If it is enabled, you approve access in UCSF MyChart. Triangle stores the credentials encrypted for that person and UCSF. A Triangle role does not create a UCSF login.

  4. Choose categories and start the import

You start it. Triangle saves the source records, later revisions, and where each item came from. New vitals can show under Measurements. Other records go to Records.

  5. Read the status

Connected is authorization only. Partial means some records arrived. Stop import and Retry remaining are available. Complete covers this run, for the categories you chose, within what UCSF sent. Reconnect means approve access again.

What a UCSF import can include

Profile, visits, problems, allergies, medication orders, labs, vitals, reports, immunizations, procedures, and clinical documents. What arrives depends on UCSF, your permissions, and import limits. Messages, billing, and UCSF MyChart Bedside are not this import.

  • Medication orders are not proof you take that medicine now.
  • Records UCSF does not send are still missing when the status says Complete.

The account you need

You need a Triangle account that can add records for that person, then UCSF MyChart’s own authorization. UCSF calls the portal UCSF MyChart and the record system APeX. Epic and UCSF Health do not endorse Triangle. Another hospital is a separate connection.

Connected is not imported

A connection stores access. It is not a finished import, a complete history, or clinical accuracy. There is no scheduled sync. Disconnecting does not delete records already saved. The source stays in Records. New vitals may also appear under Measurements.

If UCSF is not enabled

Leave a request in Connections. It does not open UCSF MyChart or retrieve records, and it is not a HIPAA request. For a formal copy, contact UCSF. The links below cover that path.

What this does not promise

  • Not every hospital, and not every UCSF name in the directory.
  • Not a complete history, and not an instant import.
  • No scheduled sync.
  • No Epic or UCSF endorsement.
  • A finished import is not clinical accuracy.
  • Medication orders are not current use.
  • Disconnecting does not delete saved records.
