How to look for Penn Medicine

Reviewed 26 October 2026. The directory listed 1,290 brands. That is not 1,290 working connections. No Penn Medicine connection or import was observed.

1. Sign in and choose the person

   The grant is for that person and MyChart by myPennMedicine, not every portal login you have.

2. Settings → Connections, then Penn Medicine

   A directory row is not an enabled connection. If Penn Medicine is not enabled, leave a request. A request does not start consent or an import.

3. Open MyChart by myPennMedicine only if it is enabled

   This page does not open MyChart by myPennMedicine. If the connection is enabled, you approve access there. A Triangle account is not a MyChart by myPennMedicine login.

4. An import is a separate step

   No Penn Medicine import was observed. If you later start one, you choose the categories. What arrives depends on Penn Medicine, your permissions, and import limits.

5. Read the status if an import starts

   Connected is authorization only. Partial means some records arrived. Complete covers that run, for the categories you chose, within what Penn Medicine sent. There is no scheduled sync.

What a Penn Medicine import can include

No Penn Medicine import was observed, so this page does not list what Penn Medicine will send. Messages and billing are not this path.

• Medication orders are not proof you take that medicine now.
• Records Penn Medicine does not send are still missing when a status says Complete.

The account you need

You need a Triangle account that can add records for that person, then MyChart by myPennMedicine’s own authorization. Penn Medicine’s public name is MyChart by myPennMedicine. Lancaster General Health uses MyLGHealth. Epic, MyChart, and Penn Medicine do not endorse Triangle. Another hospital is a separate connection.

Connected is not imported

A connection stores access. It is not a finished import, a complete history, or clinical accuracy. There is no scheduled sync. Disconnecting does not delete records already saved.

If Penn Medicine is not enabled

Leave a request in Connections. It does not open MyChart by myPennMedicine or retrieve records, and it is not a HIPAA request. For a formal copy, contact Penn Medicine.

What this does not promise

• Not every hospital, and not every Penn Medicine name in the directory.
• Not a complete history, and not an instant import.
• No scheduled sync.
• No Epic, MyChart, or Penn Medicine endorsement.
• A finished import is not clinical accuracy.
• Medication orders are not current use.
• Disconnecting does not delete saved records.
• Not MyLGHealth.

  Billed services from Medicare.gov, not Penn Medicine visit notes. Not on every account.

  Upload what you saved from MyChart by myPennMedicine. Not every file can be read.
