What was measured

The NCI Common Toxicity Criteria for Adverse Events (version 3.0) were used to define and grade toxicity for patients.

Analysis population: Grade 3 and 4 toxicities.

Groups in this outcome

Dose Levels 1, 2, 3

Dose Level 1 (30 mg/m2 + 30 mg/m2), Dose Level 2 (30 mg/m2 + 50 mg/m2), Dose Level 3 (50 mg/m2 + 50 mg/m2) PHASE I: Patients receive flavopiridol IV over 4½ hours on days 1, 8, 15, and 22. Treatment repeats every 6 weeks for up to 6 courses in the absence of disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. PHASE II: Patients receive flavopiridol\* as in phase I at the MTD determined in phase I. alvocidib: Given IV
