Precis gathers a new patient's outside records through the national health-record networks and gives you a readable summary before the visit, so the first consult starts from what is already known.
Your patients get their own place to understand their records, including tumor sequencing.
Records requested through Carequality and TEFCA. Each patient signs their own release. No drug maker, laboratory or hospital pays Triangle.
Precis is made by Triangle. You'll create your clinician account at trianglehealth.com.

1The problem
New referrals arrive in pieces.
A fax stack from the referring office. Pathology from one hospital, imaging from another, and a sequencing report the patient keeps as a PDF on their phone. Someone on your team assembles it by hand, and the first consult still opens with "when were you diagnosed?"
When the case goes to tumor board, someone assembles it again.
2How it works
Three steps before the visit
Step one
Sign up as a clinician
Create your clinician account with Triangle at trianglehealth.com.
Step two
The patient consents
Your new patient verifies their identity and signs the release. Triangle then requests their records through the national health-record networks, Carequality and TEFCA, and the patient can add what they hold: PDFs, discs, faxes.
Step three
Read the summary first
A readable summary of the outside history, alongside the records themselves, before the first consult. Triangle shows what may be missing.
3What you get
For you, and for your patients
For you
Outside records before the visitGathered through Carequality and TEFCA, with uploads for anything the networks don't have.
A readable summaryThe outside history in one summary before the first consult, so the visit starts from what is already known.
Patients who share with youPatients choose who can see their profile. When they share it with you, you see the history they've gathered.
For your patients
An advanced cancer guideA plain-language guide to advanced cancer, next to their own records.
Research on emerging treatments and trialsWritten for them to bring to you and discuss, not to act on alone.
Tumor sequencing, read in contextAnalysis of tumor sequencing, read alongside the rest of their records.
Their own membershipPatients start with a 7-day free trial, then pay $9 a month. It covers Triangle requesting their records and keeping them updated, a chat that answers from their own records, uploads such as a sequencing report PDF, and a review of their medical history by a licensed clinician.
4Patients' own assistants
Patients can ask their own assistant about their records
A patient who uses Claude, ChatGPT or Grok can connect it to their own Triangle profile.1 With their permission it can read their records, labs, medications, notes and genetic reports, including a sequencing report they uploaded, and answer from them.2
You can connect yours too. Once you're on a patient's team in Triangle, you can connect your own assistant to that patient's profile and choose what it can read and change. The patient can connect theirs, and so can a family member who helps manage the profile.

Ask it
"What did my sequencing report find, in plain language?"
"List every treatment I've had since my diagnosis, with dates."
"What should I ask my oncologist about my latest scan?"
Privacy
What the assistant reads is then handled under that assistant's own privacy policy, which Triangle does not control. Connect only assistants you trust. Each person can disconnect their own connections any time in Triangle under Settings → AI service connections, and access stops immediately.
1Works with Claude, ChatGPT on Business, Enterprise or Edu (or Pro, read-only), Grok on a paid plan, and other assistants that support MCP (Model Context Protocol). ↩
2Only what the patient allows. With write access it can also add notes and records, update their medication list and set reminders. It works only with data inside Triangle and can't change anything at a hospital or clinic. ↩
Your account is for reading outside records before the visit. Once you're on a patient's team, you can connect your own assistant to their profile too.

6Questions
Questions clinicians ask
What does it cost?
For clinician and practice pricing, talk to Triangle through trianglehealth.com. Patients' own accounts start with a 7-day free trial; a card is needed, and if they cancel before day 7 they're not charged. After that it's $9 a month, and they can cancel any month; their records stay theirs. The membership covers Triangle requesting their records from hospitals and clinics through the national networks and keeping them updated, chat with the assistant that answers from their own records, a review of their medical history by a licensed clinician, connected wearables, and uploading anything else they have.
Where do the outside records come from? Will every hospital be reached?
Triangle requests them through the national health-record networks, Carequality and TEFCA. Not every hospital or practice can be reached that way. Anything the networks don't have, such as a sequencing report the patient holds, can be uploaded as a PDF, photo, disc or fax, and Triangle shows what may be missing.
What does the patient have to do?
Each patient verifies their identity and signs their own release. They choose who can see their profile, and they can upload what they already hold. Nothing is requested without their consent.
Does Precis make treatment recommendations?
No. Triangle provides research and educational support and does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. The summary organizes and explains what the records say. Treatment decisions stay with you and your patient.
Can it read sequencing reports?
Yes. Genetic and tumor sequencing reports can be read alongside the rest of a patient's records, and Triangle's cancer tools include analysis of tumor sequencing.
Does it work inside our EHR?
No. Precis works in your Triangle clinician account, where the outside records and the summary sit side by side.
Is it HIPAA compliant, and who is behind it?
Triangle describes itself as HIPAA compliant, with security and compliance details in its Trust Center. Precis is made by Triangle, a personal health memory and research assistant, and accounts are Triangle accounts under Triangle's privacy policy and terms.
