The first weeks
The words arrive faster than you can look them up
Your pathology report can reach your patient portal before anyone has walked you through it. Referrals follow, to specialists you haven’t met yet, while the rest of your history sits in other offices.
You don’t need to become an expert in your own diagnosis. It helps to have one place where everything is gathered and explained, so your time with your care team goes to what matters most to you.
What it looks like
Your pathology report, explained in plain words
Here’s what each part of your report from March 4 says, in plain terms.
- Invasive ductal carcinoma
- A cancer that started in a milk duct and has grown into the breast tissue around it.
- Grade 2
- How different the cells look from normal cells, on a scale of 1 to 3. Grade 2 is in the middle.
- ER-positive
- The cancer cells have receptors for the hormone estrogen.
- HER2-negative
- The cells don’t make extra amounts of a protein called HER2.
Your oncologist uses these details, together with the stage, to plan treatment. Questions you might bring to your first oncology visit:
- What stage is this, and do we need more tests to know?
- Which treatment would come first, and why?
- Who should I call with questions between appointments?
A made-up example, not a real patient or report. “Reviewed” marks an answer that a second check has compared with your records.
$9 a month after the trial. Cancel before day 7 and you’re not charged.
- A licensed clinician reviews your history
- HIPAA compliant, with a public Trust Center
- Never sold or shared for advertising
How it works
Four steps, at your own pace
-
Start your trial and say who it’s for
Choose whether the profile is for you or for someone you’re helping through this, then start your 7-day free trial.
-
Confirm it’s you, and meet a clinician
Verify your identity and address, choose who can see your profile, sign the consent forms and book an intake visit with a clinician.
-
Triangle requests your records
A clinician signs the request with you, and Triangle asks your hospitals and clinics for your records through the national networks, Carequality and TEFCA. Upload anything else you have, like a report PDF or a disc from your scan.
-
Read, ask and prepare
Your records become one current history with a plain-language reading. Ask questions in a chat that knows your history, and write down what you want to ask at your next appointment.
What you’ll have
What changes when it’s all in one place
-
Your reports make sense
A plain-language reading of what your pathology, scans and visit notes say, and a summary of your medical history.
-
You stop retelling your history
Records from your hospitals and clinics in one history, updated as new ones arrive, with a view of what may be missing and help requesting it.
-
Answers from your own records
Ask what a word means or what changed since your last scan, at 2 a.m. if that’s when the question comes. A second check reviews answers against the evidence before you rely on them.
-
A clinician who has read your history
Membership includes a review of your medical history by a licensed clinician, and setup includes an intake visit with one.
-
Results you can follow
Blood counts and other lab results become trends over time, each with a plain explanation. Genetic or tumor sequencing reports are read alongside the rest of your records.
-
The people helping you see the same page
Share your profile with your partner, family or doctors, and choose who can see it and who can help manage it.
If you use an AI assistant
Ask your own assistant, with your records beside it
If you already talk things through with Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, you can connect it to Daylit. It can then read your records, results, medications and the summary of your history, only what you allow and nothing outside Triangle.
Step-by-step guides for ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Muse and others
If you let it, it can also add notes and set reminders for you. It can’t change anything at a hospital or clinic.

What does “grade 2” mean in my pathology report?
What changed between my first scan and the latest one?
Help me write down questions for my first oncology visit.
Once connected, what your assistant reads is handled under its own privacy policy, which Triangle doesn’t control, so connect only one you trust.
You can disconnect any time in Triangle under Settings → AI service connections, and access stops right away. Someone who helps manage your profile, such as your partner, can connect their own assistant to it too and choose what it can see. Someone who can only view it connects read-only. Each person disconnects their own.

Questions
What people ask first
What does it cost?
Daylit starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a card when you start, and if you cancel before day 7 you’re not charged. After that it’s $9 a month, and you can cancel any month. Your records stay yours.
Membership covers Triangle requesting your records from hospitals and clinics through the national networks and keeping them updated as new ones arrive, the chat that answers from your own records, a review of your medical history by a licensed clinician, connecting your wearables, and uploading anything else you have.
What will setup ask of me?
After you start your trial and say who the profile is for, you’ll enter your details, verify your identity and confirm your address, choose who can see the profile, sign the consent forms and schedule an intake visit with a clinician. Then you can upload anything you already have and, if you like, add a family supporter.
Will it reach my hospital and cancer center?
Triangle requests your records through the national health-record networks, Carequality and TEFCA, and a clinician signs the request with you. Not every hospital or clinic can be reached that way, so you can also upload PDFs, photos of paper records, discs and faxes. Daylit shows what may be missing and helps you request it.
Will Daylit tell me what treatment to choose?
No. Triangle provides research and educational support. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it never replaces your oncologist or care team. It helps you understand what your records say and prepare questions, so you can make decisions with your care team knowing what’s in your file.
Who can see my records?
Only the people you choose. You can share your profile with your partner, family or doctors, and decide who can see it and who can help manage it. Your records are never sold or shared for advertising, everything is encrypted, and you can delete your records whenever you choose.
Is there a guide for my kind of cancer?
Triangle’s cancer guide is written for advanced cancer, along with research on emerging treatments and clinical trials. If that’s where you are, it’s there for you. For an earlier diagnosis, Daylit helps most today with your records, the plain-language reading and the chat.
